When we last left our heroes, Shou had just picked Kei up and they were driving while talking about the past and all the trouble they had gotten in. And now, let's continue on with our story:

I've been doing this a little longer than you? [shou shrugged, driving through a small crowd of snakes, knocking them over or out of the way and getting others to start wiggling on after them.]

Gimme a pipe bomb. [he checked a rear view mirror.] Make it two. They're by your feet.

Pipe bo-- [ Stop questioning, Kei. Just roll with it. ]

--Here, here. [ He'll gingerly hand it to Sho, but not before scolding him. Somewhere in his head, he'll think it's almost normal. ] Don't build pipe bombs, idiot, you could get hurt.

I know how to build pipe bombs; it's easy. [it really does seem like a normal thing - kei telling him to stop being reckless and him denying that he was ever doing such a thing ever.

taking the pipe bomb, he swings his car onto a relatively straight bit of road, and uses his knees to balance the wheel while he lit the fuse, waited a moment and tossed the bomb out the window. then giving the car some gas, he took control of the wheel.]

Stop worrying so much, Kei.

I'm not worrying. [ It's Kei's turn to huff, now, shoulders raised. The car swerves and he finds himself barely holding on. He's less scared, because this really does seem familiar. Annoyed, though? You bet. ]

This is going to get on the news and then you won't be able to hide.

You sure 'bout that? [the blast still makes the car jerk and shou just goes with the turn, bringing his car around because the safe area was more that way anyways.]

I'm figuring that having a huge stone pink snake rampaging downtown will get anyone around it in the news. I'm just hoping that the giant naked people and various monsters sorta drown out the guy in a sports car tossing bombs at snakes.

I don't have an internet connection, but you can't possibly tell me people won't be overanalyzing that stuff on wiki...whatever it is. Don't be so naive, Sho.

Fancy sports car getting bashed isn't as exciting as... [here have a brief moment of racing past a couple snakes being bashed around by a teenage girl in what looks like an S&M outfit.]

[don't be so lame, kei. shou's not that kind of pervert.]

This city's messed up. Why did I move here?

[he'll never explain what kind he is... even if it's easy to guess.]

Warmer climate? Close to a beach? Less taxes?

I thought it was music. Now, I'm not so sure. I mean I don't know if it was just subconsciously you, you know?

[ Oh. That sounded...kind of awkward. He's gonna slump in his seat now. ]

There are some really good live houses downtown.

[well, there were considering the damage around them.]

I hope none of the bands got stomped on by big pink mama.

Yah, I'm here too. Thinking on making a band with just two people?

No, I'm not that good, just--watch it-- [ These snakes are everywhere. Jesus. ] --I get by.

All it takes is a little more practice. [stupid snakes. stupid road full of snakes. shou huffs at the blockage of them and swerves onto the sidewalk to get around them.]

Absolutely. It's the only normal thing to do in this town, I think.
